Over the past 25 years, I have often been asked, “what can you do to tighten my jowls and neck without doing a facelift?”  While facelifts still yield the best, longest lasting results there is now Facetite®, a procedure that sculptures fat and tightens skin using radiofrequency energy.  The procedure is performed under local anesthesia in the office.  First, the face and neck are treated with a dilute local anesthesia aided by our new ProNox® nitrous oxide system.  After this you don’t feel a thing and the radiofrequency energy is safely applied to the jowl, jaw line and neck.  While the procedure is performed, I can watch as the skin tightens and fat is contoured.  Next, radiofrequency micro-needling is performed in the lower third of the face and neck.

In addition to the immediate tightening and contouring, the collagen mechanism is stimulated so the improvement of the skin and additional tightening is noted over the next six to twelve months.

After completion of the procedure, a compressive wrap is placed to be worn 24/7 for three days then just at night for an additional week.  Downtime ranges from three days to a week. The duration of effect is 4-5 years.
