Revanesse Versa

Revanesse® Versa™ is an injectable dermal filler that is used to correct facial wrinkles and creases, including nasolabial folds. Thanks to the high-quality formula, Revanesse® Versa™ involves less swelling and a more precise application than other hyaluronic acid fillers, and therefore provides smoother and more natural-looking results. Revanesse® Versa™ is composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural-occurring substance that helps the skin maintain its natural structure and volume. Thanks to advanced wet milling technology and a proprietary formula, Versa™ consists of spherical shaped and uniform particles, providing enhanced smoothness and more volume than other hyaluronic acid-based fillers. The spherical particles break down slowly over time for long-lasting results. The hyaluronic acid used for Versa™ is high quality and consists of a high molecular weight, which adds to the longevity of results.

The Versa™ filler formula is designed to be precisely balanced with the skin’s natural water content. This means Versa™ does not release or absorb surrounding water, minimizing the risk of over or under treatment.

In addition, one study found that another hyaluronic acid filler produced swelling 24 percent more often than Versa™. With Versa™ filler, patients are able to resume their normal activities almost immediately after treatment, and sooner than with other fillers.

Revanesse® Versa™ is FDA approved to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds, in patients who are age 22 and older. Candidacy for treatment with Revanesse® Versa™ is determined on a case-by-case basis. Dr. Stevens can meet with you personally to evaluate your aging concerns and recommend the plan that will achieve the most natural-looking and rejuvenating results.

Treatment with Revanesse® Versa™ can be completed in a short office visit. Depending on the dosage being administered and number of areas being injected, treatment can take 15 to 30 minutes. Dr. Stevens may apply a topical anesthetic on the treatment areas to maximize your comfort. Using a fine needle, Dr. Stevens will inject small amounts of Versa™ into the facial tissue where the facial wrinkles and lines are most present. Following your treatment, you will be able to resume most of your normal activities immediately.
